Rear End clicking noise in reverse. I have about 280, miles on the truck an lately the rear end is making a clicking noise coming from the right side. It is doing intermediately and only in reverse to the best I can tell. Both rear tires jerk when it is making the clicking sound. You don't have cv joints like the 1500. You have regular u-joints on the knuckles. It might have gotten dry or somehow has play in the u-joint. It shows up as slop or clicking. Can you jack it up, support it under the axle and with it in neutral rotate each front tire and see if you can determine the source of ...
